Our wood-fired sauna is the heart of Embrr — a cosy space made for switching off and feeling good. Heated by a traditional log-burning stove, fuelled by wood from the very farm we’re based on. It’s all about crackling fire and leaving the outside world behind for a while. Sit back, soak up the heat, and enjoy a little pocket of calm.

When you’re ready to cool down, there are plenty of ways to embrace the cold at your own pace. Brave the plunge bath for an invigorating reset, wake your senses under the refreshing rainforest shower, or keep things simple with our hand douse buckets for that classic cold-water hit. If that’s enough excitement for one day, step outside and breathe in the fresh Cumbrian air before heading back into the warmth. 

After your sauna session, take your time unwinding in our cosy relaxation spaces. Wrap yourself in a blanket and enjoy a hot drink in the bell tent; sink into a hammock by the campfire or simply sit back, listen to the birdsong and soak up the peaceful surroundings.
