Embrr Guest Consent and Wellbeing Agreement
Welcome to Embrr.
Our woodland sauna is a place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience the restorative benefits of heat, fresh air, and cold water.
Before joining a session, we ask all guests to read and sign this agreement so we can help keep everyone safe and comfortable.
Children of 16 years and under are permitted to use the sauna, with an Adult Family Member/ Guardian present at ALL TIMES during the hire and use of the sauna, but are not allowed to use the cold shower, hand plunge, or plunge bath.
UNDERSTANDING THE EXPERIENCE
Embrr sessions include the use of a wood-fired sauna, cold water immersion, and movement within a natural woodland environment.
While these experiences can be deeply relaxing and beneficial, they do involve some natural risks, including:
-
Feeling light-headed, overheated, or dehydrated
-
Slips or trips on uneven or natural ground
-
Contact with hot sauna surfaces or heater stones
-
The effects of hot and cold temperatures on the body
-
Sudden changes in breathing or heart rate during cold water immersion
By signing below, you acknowledge that you understand these elements and choose to participate voluntarily.
YOUR HEALTH & WELLBEING
Sauna and cold exposure are generally safe for most people, but they may not be suitable for everyone.
Please consider your health before taking part, particularly if you:
-
Have a heart condition or blood pressure concerns
-
Are pregnant
-
Have respiratory conditions or epilepsy
-
Have recently had surgery or a serious illness
-
If you are unsure whether sauna or cold water exposure is suitable for you, we recommend consulting a healthcare professional before participating.
LOOKING AFTER YOURSELF
To help create a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we ask that you:
-
Listen to your body and leave the sauna if you feel uncomfortable, dizzy, or unwell
-
Limit sauna sessions to a comfortable duration and take cooling breaks between rounds
-
Enter cold water slowly and exit if you feel unwell or overly cold
-
Stay hydrated throughout your session
-
Remove jewellery or metal items before entering the sauna, as they may become hot
-
Avoid touching the sauna stove, chimney, or heater stones
-
Move carefully around the woodland site, as surfaces may be uneven or slippery
-
Follow any guidance provided by Embrr hosts
-
Be mindful of other guests sharing the space
-
Are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs when using the sauna
For hygiene and comfort, guests should sit on a towel while using the sauna.
Our team may occasionally offer guidance or ask guests to step out if they feel it is in the best interest of a guest’s safety or wellbeing.
RESPONSIBILITY
By joining an Embrr session, you acknowledge that you are choosing to participate freely and accept responsibility for your own comfort, health, and wellbeing during the experience.
While Embrr and its hosts take care to provide a safe and welcoming environment, participation in sauna bathing, cold water immersion, and outdoor activities involves inherent risks.
